I really need to get a source of internet service in the near future, and I am strongly considering using dsl internet, so I am looking for more information on local providers who offer DSL, so that I will be able to know what I am getting myself into. I am really interested in see what the advertised download and upload speeds, in terms of megabytes per second, for different local providers of DSL. I really want to make sure that I am able to get a very fast connection, because I like to play multiplayer games over the internet, and some of them really require a fast internet connection in order to avoid lag during the game play. November 29th, 2012Power Surge Cost Him All His Work
December 31st, 2012I was trying to find a way for my husband to protect the information that he stores on his computer at home so he can rest a little easier knowing that it will not be lost if something happens to his computer again. I found the carbonite offer and thought that it seemed to be something worth looking into.
He does much of his work from home and has to be sure that all of the research and information is stored safely until he can transfer it to his computer at work. He had a long document all finished and ready to submit to his boss when there was a bad storm and it caused a surge which crashed the computer. He lost everything that he had stored on that computer.
We thought that the computer would be safe from storms like the one that blew through because we had it plugged into a surge protector, but something happened that kept the surge protector from protecting the computer.
My poor husband had to restart his project at work the next morning and stay at work for fourteen hours straight so he could finish it up. If we had the cloud storage account set up before that storm, he could have saved all of his work right then and there and would have just had to upload it at work the next morning.
Since we did not have the storage set up, he lost all of the work that he had done on the optical sensors that he and his team were trying to develop. I felt badly that he had to restart the work and as soon as we had the computer operating again looked for the solution to this problem. That was when I found the carbonite offer that we used to get started at a discounted rate.
Searching for Heavy Duty Ladder Stand Offs and Ladder Racks
August 25th, 2012I just recently bought a couple of new ladders from the hardware store. One is pretty tall, capable of getting me up onto the roof of my two story house, and the other is about two thirds the size. I am going to start doing some work on my house in the near future, because I intend to sell it some time next year, and look for a new place. I am looking at the website for Kirmell ltd to see if I can find some accessories for my ladders that I will need.
I am going to need to buy some ladder rack clamps in order to help me to store the ladders in my storage building, and I am hoping that I will be able to find some racks that will allow me to hang the ladders from the ceiling, where they will be most out of the way.

Gala Dinner – Fashion Show Video
April 24th, 2012“Salento: the sun, the sea, the wind” so goes the local saying; a perfect synthesis to describe this strip of land between two seas: on one side, the Ionian of the Gulf of Taranto, which overlooks the North-African coast, on the other side the Adriatic, creating a bridge between east and west.
Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca and Otranto are just some of the most beautiful pearls set along this coastline like precious jewels.
For most of the year the sun warms and colours the earth deep red, rich in iron and calcareous rock, while the wind, coming inland from the coast brings with it the fragrance of the sea, refreshing the summer evenings.
The territory is a result of the perfect harmony of the heat of the sun, the generosity of the sea and the steadfastness of the wind.
